Ingredients
  

Tuna Salad Mixture
  • 1 can tuna, drained Use canned tuna for convenience.
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise Adjust to taste.
  • 1 tablespoon mustard Any mustard of your choice.
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery Adds crunch.
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion For flavor.
  • to taste Salt and pepper
Wrap Assembly
  • 1 whole wheat wrap or tortilla Whole wheat preferred for health.
  • 1 slice cheese (cheddar or your choice) Use your favorite cheese type.
  • to taste Lettuce or spinach (optional) For extra greens.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix the drained tuna, mayonnaise, mustard, celery, red onion, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Place the wrap on a flat surface and layer with lettuce or spinach (if using).
Assembly
  1. Spoon the tuna mixture onto the wrap and top with a slice of cheese.
  2. Fold in the sides of the wrap and then roll it up tightly.
Cooking (Optional)
  1. Optionally, grill the wrap on a panini press or skillet for a few minutes until the cheese melts.
  2. Slice in half and serve immediately.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two days. Best when fresh. Feel free to customize with herbs and spices for added flavors or variations.
