Preparation
- In a bowl, whisk together lime juice, olive oil, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
- Place the chicken breasts in a resealable bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Grilling
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove chicken from the marinade and grill for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and no longer pink in the center.
- During the last few minutes of grilling, place avocado slices on the grill to warm them slightly.
- Once the chicken is done, remove from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Serving
- Serve the grilled chicken topped with avocado slices and fresh tomatoes. Garnish with cilantro if desired.
Notes
